Sarah requested a moment alone so that her groom could step inside to see her for the first time on their wedding day. They embraced, and of course there were tears, but then they noticed the view of their ceremony through the window of Sarah’s childhood home, and all of their most precious family and friends awaiting their arrival at the arbor.
You could hear the distant chatter of guests mingling outside under the old oak tree...
While they may have believed they had the best view, I felt differently, watching their beaming faces through the french doors that separated us.
As I photographed this candid moment, I truly understood why being a wedding photographer is so important to me. It’s moments like this one – a glimpse into the pure, unfiltered emotion of two souls intertwining their lives in a promise of forever surrounded by their most cherished loved ones. And I get to capture and preserve it for them to enjoy for always.
As a wife and mother today, I grasp the profound value of these memories. From my family's photos to crafting albums for couples like Sarah and David, I can see that these images aren't just snapshots; they weave the tapestry of a family's history.

You photos feel candid, does this mean you don't pose people?
I totally pose my clients! I love to capture candid and authentic moments but I will guide you into that throughout the photo session. Authenticity will be the overall feel of your images but I do get the smiling at the camera shots, too!
I have inspiration Pinterests boards for just about everything! If you don’t know what to wear to your session, shoot me an email or text and I’ll give you some advice. I love being able to match an outfit to the location!
What do I wear to my session?
Your images will be delivered in an online gallery where you can view, share, download, print, and purchase products from.
How will I receive my images?
For family and engagement sessions, three weeks. For weddings, six weeks.
What is your turnaround time?
It's important to note that NONE of my clients are models. It’s my job to make sure you’re comfortable. Just remember to relax and have fun! It’s gonna be a great time.
What if I'm so awkward in front of the camera?
Definitely! Ask about my travel rates.
Do you travel?
Yes! You will receive high-resolution images from your wedding or session to print, and I actually encourage it! Please print them. Hold them. Gift them.
Will I be able to print my images?
I recommend picking a location that is special to you whether that be in your home, in your yard, on your family’s land, or at the coffee shop that you met your spouse. We can work together to find the perfect spot for you!
